Sustainability is a defining element of business performance and resilience. Across industries, organizations are taking action to understand and manage their environmental impact. At JAGGAER, that commitment is embedded in how we operate—integrating sustainability into our own practices and supporting customers to do the same.
As part of this journey, JAGGAER is now working with Watershed, an enterprise sustainability platform that supports organizations in measuring, analyzing, and reporting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. By leveraging Watershed’s measurement capabilities, we’ll be gaining deeper visibility into our footprint and identifying data-driven opportunities for improvement across our operations and value chain.
Transparent Data to Guide Action
JAGGAER’s sustainability ambitions extend beyond the solutions we deliver. As a global technology company serving customers in more than 55 countries, we recognize our role in contributing to a more sustainable economy. Understanding our own emissions profile is a crucial step. Using Watershed, we’ll be able to measure and track GHG emissions with greater precision—covering data from our offices, business travel, and relevant value-chain activities. This transparency will help pinpoint where our impact occurs and where to better focus our efforts, building on our long-term environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy of responsible operations, supplier engagement, and innovation that benefits people and the planet.
High-quality measurement is the foundation for meaningful action. When leaders share a consistent, comparable view of emissions data, it becomes easier to set goals, balance priorities, and make informed choices. Whether evaluating energy use in facilities, reviewing travel practices, or considering operational changes, better data strengthens day-to-day management and long-term planning alike.
Why This Matters
Rising expectations for ESG transparency mean we need accurate, comparable emissions data. By using Watershed for JAGGAER’s own GHG measurement—and aligning with recognized standards and disclosure requirements—JAGGAER creates a single source of truth that strengthens the credibility of our communications, embeds accountability in day-to-day management, supports internal planning and risk management, and gives leaders a shared baseline for setting goals, balancing priorities, and tracking progress—keeping us ready for what’s next.
Ready for Evolving Disclosure Requirements
Effective measurement also supports readiness for evolving disclosure requirements, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in the European Union and similar frameworks worldwide. By establishing robust processes now, we lay the groundwork for responsible reporting tomorrow. This preparation reflects our commitment to operate with integrity and transparency as standards continue to evolve.
From Momentum to Measurable Results
Our ESG journey is ongoing and structured around science-based emissions-reduction targets verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and our Plan Zero program. Our ambition is to become a net-zero business by 2040. More specifically, we aim to reduce our absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 versus a 2021 base year, and by 90% by 2040. Focus areas include procuring renewable electricity where feasible, continuing to review company-fleet choices, engaging suppliers and vendors, and encouraging mindful business travel.
We have been measuring our GHG emissions since 2021, strengthening the foundation for transparent, decision-useful reporting and continuous improvement. As our data matures, we will use those insights to prioritize actions that deliver real impact while maintaining operational resilience.
Ongoing Journey of Improvement
Working with Watershed represents another milestone in JAGGAER’s sustainability journey. It shows we’re holding ourselves to recognized measurement and reporting standards within JAGGAER’s operations, reinforcing internal accountability and clear communication. This is not a one-time initiative but part of a continuous process. We will keep refining our methods, assessing our performance, and sharing progress with stakeholders.
Ultimately, climate accountability is about responsibility and evidence—measuring what matters, acting on what we learn, and reporting transparently. By strengthening our internal measurement with Watershed, we’re building the data foundation that supports thoughtful decisions today and ambitious goals for the future.
