JAGGAER and Marelli Win in the Global Procurement Category at the 2022 ADACI Excellence Awards

Milan, October 18, 2022 – The collaboration between JAGGAER and Marelli to develop a roadmap for the digital transformation of Marelli’s global purchasing and supply chain management processes has been honored as the best project in the “Global Procurement – Large Enterprise” category at the fourth ADACI Procurement and Supply Management Excellence Awards. ADACI is the Italian Association of Purchasing and Supply Management.

JAGGAER has assisted Marelli on its journey to digitalize and transform its purchasing and supply chain management processes. The platform supporting the project is already used by more than 8,000 Marelli professionals in 22 countries around the world and in 11 different languages.

With approximately 54,000 employees and 170 factories and R&D centers worldwide, Marelli is one of the world’s largest independent automotive suppliers. The company serves the most important brands and players in the industry with a wide range of innovative and high-quality technologies. The company has always invested in the adoption of the most advanced technologies, with the aim of making its processes more efficient, including the management of supplier relationships, which are considered a strategic factor in improving productivity, governance and risk management. Given that manufacturing excellence is one of the company’s core principles, it’s essential to maintain an extremely qualified panel of suppliers.

The award is a great recognition for the entire JAGGAER team working on the Marelli project,” commented Emanuele Iseppi, Account Manager at JAGGAER Italy. “Our Autonomous Commerce revolution is truly innovating, and it is transforming the way companies manage their accounts payable cycles, especially in this long and persistent period of uncertainty: the use of artificial intelligence and predictive analytics will increasingly be at the heart competitiveness in the business world.

We are honored to receive such an influential award that testifies to the foresight and effectiveness of the actions Marelli has taken to secure our ability to manage procurement, making it increasingly transparent and performant,” said Davide Devalle, Head of Indirect Purchasing EMEA at Marelli. “The simplification that JAGGAER has brought to all the geographies in which we operate is unquestionable, as is the further cohesion toward a global, fully digitalized, compliant and secure approach.
