Wienerberger Optimizes Global Purchasing with JAGGAER

Vienna – Research Triangle Park, NC – February 06, 2018 – JAGGAER, the world’s largest independent spend management company, has launched a new international optimization project with Wienerberger Clay Building Materials Europe (CBME), a division of Wienerberger AG, the world’s largest producers of bricks. Using JAGGAER’s eProcurement solution, Wienerberger CBME will digitalize its procurement of indirect materials.

This will allow us to achieve greater transparency and to gain more control over our expenses. ​Promptly following its initial implementation at Wienerberger’s headquarters in Vienna, the JAGGAER eProcurement platform will roll out in the 23 countries where Wienerberger CBME has procurement functions. In the near future, employees at all of the company’s 144 locations will be working with the solution. Using JAGGAER’s solution, Wienerberger will be able to process over 120,000 purchase orders per year with a total purchasing volume in excess of €70m with more than 10,000 ordered items in total. The high degree of integration and consistency of JAGGAER’s solution will enable Wienerberger to achieve a reduction in both process costs and unnecessary complexity in its procurement process.
