JAGGAER ONE combines all data sources to provide a 360° view
Vienna, Austria and Research Triangle, NC, 19, January 2022: TK Elevator (TKE), one of the world’s leading elevator manufacturers and service providers, will in future use the source-to-pay solution JAGGAER ONE to standardize procurement processes on a global level. TKE is present in more than 1,000 locations worldwide and serves customers in more than 100 countries. The aim of the software implementation is to minimize the previous complexity involved in using different procurement systems, while also realizing cost savings. JAGGAER ONE combines all data sources to provide a 360° view and from now on will function as an international point of contact for all information about suppliers at TKE. In future, the entire procure-to-pay (P2P) process will take place on one platform with the same data. The go-live is scheduled to take place in Q3 2022.
In the software selection process JAGGAER impressed TKE with its extensive range of functions and high level of integration expertise. For TK Elevator, flexibility in connecting a wide variety of ERP systems is a crucially important issue; another is the availability of standard connectors to SAP ERP systems. In addition, JAGGAER offers a high level of engagement with suppliers as well as their technical integration, which will significantly advance supplier management.
A step-by-step procedure is planned for the software implementation, in which TKE will initially focus on sourcing, contracting and supplier management. The decisive factor for the latter is, in particular, the changing legal framework, for example the due diligence obligations within the terms of Germany’s new Supply Chain Act. It will also enable the company to improve the tracking of its suppliers’ sustainability-related efforts. Furthermore, TK Elevator will introduce JAGGAER’s eProcurement solution right from the start, thereby replacing complicated and expensive old systems. Because the module offers a one-stop-shop for the end user, the buyer can follow the entire end-to-end process, from the request through order placement to the delivery of the article, on the JAGGAER ONE platform.
In a second step, TKE plans to introduce the JAGGAER network at selected locations in order to benefit from direct networking. The focus in this respect will be on Europe and North America.
