    JAGGAER Appoints New Sales Director and Ramps up Investment in Benelux

    AMSTERDAM and LONDON, December 2, 2021 JAGGAER announced today that it has appointed Paul Rutten as Sales Director in the Benelux region as it builds further sales momentum in northern Europe and expands its global footprint. Paul Rutten joins JAGGAER from Ivalua, where he spent two years, and will report to JAGGAER Senior Vice President Northern Europe, Justin Sadler-Smith. JAGGAER is the procurement provider of choice for one of the leading companies in the Benelux region, Signify.

    Paul Rutten has worked in various roles around procurement for several organisations in the Netherlands and globally, building expertise of supply chain challenges in financial, pharmaceutical, public sector and manufacturing sectors. Before joining Ivalua he was Director, Customer Advocacy with Amsterdam-based contract intelligence firm Icertis. From 2014 to 2018 he was SaaS Business Leader Benelux with IBM, where his career intersected briefly with that of Sadler-Smith.

    The appointment coincides with a major customer acquisition in the Netherlands, with Signify selecting JAGGAER for sourcing, contracts, supplier management and spend analytics.

    Signify N.V., formerly known as Philips Lighting N.V. and based in the southern Dutch city of Eindhoven, is a multinational lighting corporation formed in 2016. The company manufactures electric lights and light fixtures for consumers, professionals and the Internet of Things. The company continues to produce lights under the Philips brand. JAGGAER won the Signify account in 2020 and the company is now using the JAGGAER ONE suite to manage both direct and indirect supply chains.
