Lakeland Community College Selects JAGGAER to Automate Procurement

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – April 25, 2017 – JAGGAER, producers of the world’s most comprehensive Source to Pay (S2P) solutions suite, today announced that Lakeland Community College will implement JAGGAER’s Spend Director and Accounts Payable Director solutions to automate critical purchasing and accounts payable processes.

“We currently use a piece of paper for purchase requisitions and it’s hard to track down what the status is at any given time. It takes numerous emails and phone calls just to check. With JAGGAER, we now have the ability to automate and digitize all purchasing for the college and we can check the status at any given time without having to hunt for it,” said Mark Iacofano, Assistant Director for Purchasing, Lakeland Community College. “We’re saving time and money because we’re eliminating the slow paper process by implementing JAGGAER’s automated system. We are excited to roll this out to our employees and start training them on how to use it.”

Iacofano added that the system also directs users to existing contracts so that they can take advantage of best pricing.

Lakeland Community College is a two-year community college in Lake County, Ohio just outside of Cleveland. Established in 1967, Lakeland was the first college in Ohio founded by a vote of the people. Today, Lakeland serves more than 12,000 full-time and part-time students each year at the main campus in Kirtland, an off-site location in Madison, and via distance learning.
