    Fedrigoni Group Selects JAGGAER for the Digital Transformation of Procurement Processes

    Choice guided by the needs for structured governance between all locations worldwide, greater control over purchasing processes, and supplier database management

     

    Milan, Italy and Morrisville, NC, October 19, 2021 – With 21 production plants, a presence in 132 countries and a turnover in 2020 of 1.3 billion euros, the Fedrigoni Group is one of the international leaders in self-adhesive materials and a leader in Europe in the production and sale of paper for packaging, printing and graphics.     With the acquisition by the US fund Bain Capital in 2018, the company has grown further, and in parallel with this growth has needed to monitor and standardize processes related to purchasing activities, which are an increasingly strategic factor to ensure competitiveness at the international level.

    Fedrigoni therefore turned to JAGGAER to set in motion the digital transformation of purchasing and supplier management.

    The project aims to define and guarantee structured governance in three main areas through the adoption of the collaborative platform JAGGAER ONE.

    The first area of development concerns the evolution of the relationship with Fedrigoni Group suppliers, with a view to improving the fluidity with which all the innovation plans and proposals received are collected, shared and evaluated.

    The second step involves the definition of a structured process, as well as parameters and assets for the evaluation and qualification of suppliers, which is valid for all Group offices and companies, regardless of geographic location.

    The solution has been developed by JAGGAER to allow complete integration between the information and documents made available by suppliers and data from third-party information providers such as EcoVadis on sustainability issues. The data helps to define a rating for each supplier, which is accessible to the purchasing functions through an intuitive and easy-to-use dashboard, which also presents information in graphical formats.

    Finally, the third intervention is intended to improve the management of purchase requests and related approval processes through the implementation of an electronic catalogue, integrating with the Group’s various ERP and IT systems. Through the electronic catalogue, the various company departments will have access to pre-selected and pre-negotiated products, to be purchased through an easy and intuitive process, which will guarantee the company control and management of spending.
