Julie Lambie is vice president of supply chain solutions at Schneider, a premier provider of transportation, intermodal and logistics services. In this position, she is responsible for developing logistics solutions that deliver measurable value to North America’s most complex supply chains through technology, processes and innovation. Lambie leads a team of 40+ supply chain professionals and is responsible for carrier engagement and the procurement of approximately $2B in annual managed transportation. Schneider currently utilizes Jaggaer Advanced Sourcing Optimizer for its procurement activity and Total Supplier Management for Carrier Management.
Lambie joined Schneider in 2003 and has held many operational, project management and account management roles within the company. Before assuming her current role in June 2018, she served as a managing director with operational, commercial and P&L accountability for $150MM managed transportation across several supply chains. In 2016, Schneider was recognized with a Distinguished Supplier Award due to Lambie’s success turning around an underperforming JIT operation and driving strong measured results.
Lambie holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, a bachelor’s degrees in economics and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma in 2010.
