REV ON THE ROAD FRANKFURT – Terms & Conditions

    THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL BE LEGALLY BINDING ON PARTICIPANT UPON REGISTRATION FOR REV2024. JAGGAER, LLC (“JAGGAER”) RESERVES THE RIGHT TO UPDATE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FROM TIME TO TIME.  

    Thank you for registering for this REV2024 event (the “Event”). Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or on your behalf, the following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and your participation in REV2024 whether in-person or virtual. By participating in this Event, you agree to these Terms so please read them carefully. This Event is organized by JAGGAER, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual. “Attendee” for purposes of these Terms will include all participants at the Event, including Exhibitors. Processing of personal data by JAGGAER in relation to the Event is described under REV2024 Privacy Notice which is made available to the Attendees at the time of the registration. 

     

    1. REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE. 
      1. Attendance is for the Attendee named in the registration. However, substitution and/or transfer of registrations may be made, within your business organization, at any time up to the Event start date, subject to JAGGAER’s acceptance. 
      2. Attendance at Exhibitor Sessions. By registering to an Exhibitor session at a virtual or in-person Event, you understand that your registration information will be shared with that particular Exhibitor subject to JAGGAER’s REV2024 Privacy Notice. Any further Processing of your personal data by the Exhibitor is subject to that Exhibitor’s privacy practices, including their privacy statement or policy. 
      3. Badges
        1. Badges may contain RFID tags or other technology that may be used to record your attendance and participation in the Event. Your badge will be scanned at the Event, or you will scan your badge at the Event, the operator of the badge scanner or similar technology for virtual events will therefore collect and process such information subject to appropriate contract with JAGGAER and privacy and security measures verified by JAGGAER; 
        2. You acknowledge that if you scan your badge or if your badge is scanned by or for any sponsor or other third party with a badge scanner or similar technology for virtual events (each, an “Event Sponsor”), then that Event Sponsor may have access to a third-party report that includes such attendance and participation information, and also certain of your Registration Information. JAGGAER is not responsible for the privacy practices of any Event Sponsor or other third party. Please contact the Event Sponsor or third party to learn more about its practices with respect to any information that it collects. For clarity, to the extent that JAGGAER processes any Personal Data regarding your attendance or participation in the Event for JAGGAER’s use, it will be subject to JAGGAER’s REV2024 Privacy Notice. 
        3. Where applicable, the sharing of Attendee badges/credentials is not permitted at any time. Badges/credentials are issued to, and can be picked up and used by, the Attendee named in the registration. Badges must be worn at all times during the Event.  
        4. JAGGAER reserves the right to remove any person from the Event who violates these conditions.  
      4. Use of Multimedia at the Event. In order to comply with global data privacy laws, JAGGAER imposes certain restrictions on the use of multimedia at the Event (i.e., photography, video, audio, online streaming and all future mediums). 
        1. Attendees are encouraged to capture their Event experiences in the permitted areas of the Event venue and post their own social content from the Event (text, photos, audio, video, streaming), provided it does not defame other Event attendees or Exhibitors or infringe on copyrighted JAGGAER branding and content. JAGGAER will determine in its sole discretion which posted content will be displayed on the screens at the Event venue. 
      5. Personal Release. JAGGAER (and/or others on behalf of JAGGAER) may be photographing, recording (both audio and video), webcasting, podcasting or otherwise transmitting during any or all of the Event. Your image, likeness, voice, statements, and other identifying characteristics (each, an “Image”) may be captured in photographs, recordings (both audio and video), webcasts, podcasts, or other transmissions of the Event (each, a “Recording”). 
        1. You hereby grant to JAGGAER a worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and fully sublicensable (through multiple tiers) license, without additional consideration to you or any third party, to reproduce, distribute, perform and display (publicly or otherwise, create derivative works of, adapt, modify and otherwise use, analyze and exploit Recordings (including your Images therein), in whole or in part, in any format or media now known or hereafter developed, within JAGGAER’s business purposes in the Procurement area (including for promotional purposes, such as testimonials). 
        2. JAGGAER exclusively owns all right, title and interest (including intellectual property rights) in and to the Recordings, all modifications and derivatives of Recordings, and all proceeds derived therefrom. JAGGAER has no obligation to share any such proceeds with you. 
        3. You hereby irrevocably waive any right you may have to inspect or approve the use or other exploitation of any Recording or any reproductions thereof, and you agree that JAGGAER has no obligation to use any Recording (including any of your Images) or otherwise exercise any of the rights granted to JAGGAER with respect to your Images. 
        4. Your Images may appear in Recordings made available to the public, and third parties may retain, use or distribute such Recordings. Once made available to the public, JAGGAER has no control over, and is not responsible for, any use or misuse (including any distribution) by any third party of Recordings. 
        5. In connection with the use or other exploitation of Recordings (including your Images), you hereby irrevocably waive and release any and all claims with respect to intellectual property, rights of publicity, and any other claims or damages with respect to such use or other exploitation. You affirm that you are of legal age and have read the foregoing release and fully understand its contents. 
    2. SECURITY. 
      1. JAGGAER reserves the right, to take any security measures it deems appropriate for the safety of attendees and participants of in-person Events. You will comply with all such security measures, including the following: 
        1. At all times during the Event, you will wear your Event badge such that it is visible to other Event attendees and participants. You will not share or exchange your Event badge with any other person, unless properly substituted/transferred beforehand. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in confiscation of your Event badge and termination of your attendance or participation in the Event. 
        2. Bags may be checked randomly during certain hours of the Event. 
        3. You will not leave any bags or other property unattended at any time. Unattended property may be removed. 
        4. Except as specifically pre-approved by JAGGAER in writing, no persons under 18 years of age will be permitted to attend any Event or portion thereof, or otherwise be present at the Event venue. 
        5. Items prohibited at the Event include: firearms and other weapons, explosives, and other hazardous materials or articles. You will not bring with you or have in your possession any such items at any time during your attendance at the Event. 
    3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. 
      1. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, you accept and assume all risks of any and all personal injury or damage to your personal property that you may face while attending the Event, and hereby waive any claims you may have against JAGGAER, its Affiliates, Event Sponsor(s), Exhibitors, or Event Vendor(s) relating to such risks. 
      2. JAGGAER reserves the right, including without prior notice, to limit the number of Event attendees and participants, to cancel or terminate any Event registration, to bar any person from attending all or any part of any Event, and to refuse to provide any person with access to Event materials. 
    4. CHANGES TO EVENTS. 
      1. Events are subject to change at any time. JAGGAER does not guarantee the attendance of any third party (including any exhibitor or speaker). 
      2. JAGGAER reserves the right, including without prior notice, to make any change to an Event program at any time for any reason (including modification of the schedule or content of, or cancellation of, any session or other activity). JAGGAER is not responsible for, and no reimbursement will be issued in the event of, any change to an Event (including modification of the overall Event program, or the schedule or content of, or cancellation of, any session or other activity). 
    5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.  
      1. The maximum aggregate liability of JAGGAER, together with all JAGGAER affiliates, for all damages, losses and causes of action in connection with these Terms or the Event, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, will be the Event registration fees, if any, paid by you to AND RECEIVED BY JAGGAER for the Event giving rise to the liability. 
    6. INDEMNITY. 
      1. By accepting these Terms, you hereby agree to indemnify JAGGAER and its affiliates, organizers and agents from and hold each harmless from any or all loss or damage, injury, actions, proceedings, or claims arising from any act or omission by you during or otherwise in connection with the Event. 
    7. SEVERABILITY. 
      1. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, it shall be deemed omitted and the remaining provisions will continue in full force without being impaired or invalidated in any way.  The parties agree to replace any invalid provision with a valid provision that most closely approximates the intent and economic effect of the invalid provision. 
    8. GOVERNING LAW. 
      1. The following laws shall govern the validity, operation, and performance of these Terms
