RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – September 12, 2018 – JAGGAER , the world’s largest independent spend management company, today announces thatUniHA, the leading group purchasing cooperative network of French public hospitals, selected JAGGER and PwC to supply a purchasing solution for the management of hospital procurement processes.

UniHA selected JAGGAER because of its agility, breadth of the solution, and experience within the healthcare space in conducting digital transformations, matching the demands of hospitals and their purchasing processes. UniHA’s needs are comparable to those of the Groupement Hospitalier de Territoire, (GHT), regional hospital groups, with a common goal of synchronized workflows and collaborative initiatives. The choice of JAGGAER was based on input from a panel of hospital users: pharmacists, engineers, controllers and buyers.

JAGGAER’s solution includes configurable and scalable modules that cover the key processes of public procurement: requirements collection, collaboration and market planning, preparation of consultations and advertisements, analysis of offers and publications of award, market management, supplier relationship management, performance reporting (including the Territory Purchasing Action Plan), and customizable dashboards. This system is interoperable with the institutions’ financial and economic management systems (ERP) as well as with the various business applications of the hospital. It brings a global view of the purchases of a network of buyers (GHT and UniHA).

JAGGAER’s solution is coupled with support for implementation, with services including training, support establishment, and local personalized support for each entity to establish its shopping portal. These services will be carried out throughout France by PwC’s consulting teams, which will provide consultants who specialize in purchasing, public procurement and the hospital sector. PwC teams will customize digital tools to the needs of each organization.
