Bühler Group Expands Partnership with JAGGAER with Global Supplier Management Project

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – November 09, 2017 – JAGGAER, providers of the most comprehensive Source-to-Pay (S2P) solution suite, today announced that long-time customer Bühler has successfully completed a global supplier management project with JAGGAER. The leading tech company in both the food and non-food industries in Switzerland, Bühler sets new standards for supplier management within its global procurement organization.

Bühler digitalized its ordering processes with JAGGAER in 2009 and now saves an average of 15-20 minutes on each order, which are used for value-adding tasks. The expansion project introduces multi-tiered supplier registration processes, global contract management, and supplier evaluation. Bühler expects to gain significant advantages in increasing the technical and commercial transparency of project-specific benchmarks through digitalizing their calls for tenders. Bühler will also be provided improved transparency within the entire global procurement organization with a consolidated overview of the group’s supplier data and contracts.

JAGGAER’s digital platform has been fully integrated into the company’s SAP infrastructure, effectively replacing the previous software solution. Following the successful implementation of the new modules in the core region’s 18 locations, the solutions suite will be rolled out across all of Bühler’s international locations. JAGGAER’s strong market position in the D/A/CH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region and its modular portfolio were key factors in Bühler’s decision to integrate further functions and processes from JAGGAER in the future.
