Cary, NC, November 10, 2011, JAGGAER , a leading provider of on-demand strategic procurement and supplier management solutions, today announced the keynote speaker at its increasingly popular annual NextLevel 2012 customer conference.
Taking place February 19-22 at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida, NextLevel is the procurement industry’s signature event for conversation and collaboration around the challenges, successes and future of strategic source-to-settle initiatives. NextLevel features the industry’s most innovative users and thought leaders discussing and sharing ideas, best practices and new ways to drive true costs savings through the use of technology.
William (Gus) Pagonis is presently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Board, Genco (supply chain solution) based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Previously, Pagonis served as Executive Vice President of Logistics for Sears, Roebuck and Co. and was responsible for all supply chain functions including the flow of inventory from vendor to store, transportation, distribution, international logistics, home delivery services and the integration of information systems. He functioned as the single point of contact for all of Sears Supply Chain and directed logistics for more than 2,500 stores, and a network of strategically positioned distribution centers.
Prior to joining Sears, Pagonis served in the U.S. Army for 29 years, retiring with the 3-star rank of Lieutenant General. “The secret to logistics is never to lose sight of who the customer is,” said Pagonis. “NextLevel is a conference that revolves around the world of the customer, including their successes and their pain points. These customers are already leaders, putting supply chain and procurement at the forefront of their organizations. I am truly looking forward to this event.”
