Introduction
This Privacy Notice provides information regarding processing of personal data of attendees of the REV2024 events (“Event(s)”) conducted by JAGGAER. “Attendee” for purposes of this Notice includes all participants at the relevant Event, including those who only register, as well as the Exhibitors.
In terms of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), JAGGAER LLC, 3020 Carrington Mill Blvd. Suite 100 Morrisville, NC27650 US, is the Data Controller of Attendees’ personal data. JAGGAER has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted via email at privacy@jaggaer.com.
What type and categories of Attendees’ personal data are processed when in relation of REV on the ROAD/REV Direct?
- Identification, background and contact details

- details of Attendees’ IP address, browser type and operating system when they visit Event website to inform themselves about and/or to register to the Event
- records of communications sent to Attendees’ by JAGGAER or received from Attendees
How does JAGGAER obtain Attendees’ personal data?
JAGGAER obtains Attendees’ personal data within the:
- process of Attendees’ registration to the Event
- Attendees’ participation in the Event
What is the legal basis for personal data processing?
JAGGAER is processing persona data on following basis:
- Performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract for:
- Identification and contact details – name, surname, business details including: company name, job title, business address, business email address, business phone number
- Data that may be part of communication between JAGGAER and Attendee – correspondence about the Event, including sending pre and post-event information)
- Online and transactional data
- processing is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person
- emergency contact
- food restrictions data (in situation where Attendee is unable to provide consent e.g., person is unconscious)
- accessibility data (in situation where Attendee is unable to provide consent e.g., person is unconscious)
- processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party
- security related processing such as attendees’, such as Attendees’ badges
- filming, photographing or otherwise recording Event and publishing such content on our website, social media accounts and other formats where it would not be necessary, appropriate or practicable to obtain your specific consent
- analyzing who is attended the Event, including so that we can monitor the success of our outreach program and understand trends in participation
- marketing the JAGGAER and its Event by electronic mail, social media, phone (but without prejudice to Attendees’ rights under the legislation that regulates the sending of marketing communications by electronic means) and otherwise as permitted under applicable laws;
- using digital tools to monitor the impact of our marketing communications (click open rate, etc.)
- when Attendee is registering to Sponsor session at a virtual or in-person Event, Attendee’s registration information will be shared with that particular Sponsor/Exhibitor to analyze attendance information and success of the session
- Attendee’s consent
- food restrictions data
- accessibility needs data
- name, surname, company name, job title and business email address to be shared with Sponsors of the Event provided Attendee opted-in to be included in “Attendee List”
What is purpose of personal data processing?
JAGGAER’s will process personal data obtained in relation with the Event for the following purposes:
- to communicate with Attendees regarding the Event
- as reasonably necessary for the management and organization of the Event, including for providing Attendees with adequate diet at the Event and accessibility to the Even location
- protecting vital interests of Attendees in case of an emergency
- for JAGGAER’s internal reporting purposes
- marketing activities
To whom does JAGGAER disclose and where applicable transfer the Attendees’ personal information?
JAGGAER may disclose the personal data processed for the above described purposes to:

- Where it is in Attendees’ vital interests to do so and an Attendees is incapable of giving consent, data may be shared for example to inform specified emergency contact, the NHS or emergency services in the event of Attendee’s illness or another emergency.
- Please note, photographs and/or audio-visual footage may be taken and/or live streamed during (part of) an JAGGAER event. Photos and videos can be published on JAGGAER websites and social media pages as well as on the co-organizer’s online platforms. Photos and videos may also be recorded and can be reproduced in various media including JAGGAER publications, social networks and press, in connection with a specific event, or for further institutional purposes as well as for promotional activities of JAGGAER. Please note, once made available to the public, JAGGAER has no control over, and is not responsible for, any use or misuse (including any distribution) by any third party of Recordings.
International Data Transfers
JAGGAER will transfer Attendees’ personal data to locations where JAGGAER Affiliates are based as well as the third-party service providers as listed above, transfer will be conducted only subject to rules and valid transfer mechanism under the GDPR and appropriate security measures.
How long will JAGGAER keep Attendees’ personal data?
Attendees’ sensitive personal data will be retained on JAGGAER’s system up to one (1) month post event.
Attendees’ other Personal data will be retained on JAGGAER’s system up to one (1) year after the event.
Attendees’ rights under the GDPR
The right to be informed. Attendees are entitled to be informed of the use of Personal Data (as defined under GDPR). This Notice provides such information.
The right of access. Attendees have the right to request a copy of their Personal Data which JAGGAER holds.
The right of correction. Attendees have the right to request correction or changes of the Personal Data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date.
The right to withdraw consent. Attendees have the right to withdraw a previously given consent for processing their Personal Data.
The right to be forgotten. Attendees have the right to request JAGGAER, at any time, to delete their Personal Data in its possession when it is no longer necessary for JAGGAER to retain such data for the purpose of processing, when the Attendee withdraws consent on which the processing is based and where there is no other legal ground for the processing;
The right to object (opt-out). Attendees have the right to opt out of use of their Personal Data, for direct marketing purposes at any time.
The right to data portability. Attendees have the right to a “portable” copy of the Personal Data they have submitted to JAGGAER.
The right to refuse to be subjected to automated decision making, including profiling. Attendees have the right not to be subject to a decision and insist on human intervention if the decision is based on automated processing and produces a legal effect or a similarly significant effect.
The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Attendees have the right to lodge complaints about our data processing activities by filing a complaint with JAGGAER or with the relevant Supervisory Authority.
